Frequently Asked Counseling Questions

  • What should I expect in counseling sessions?

    Intake session is usually a longer session, which includes a comprehensive discussion of reasons why client is seeking therapy, full history of biological, psychological and social factors, and individualized treatment planning. Sessions after are specifically geared towards the needs of the client offering a safe space to process and work on self and objectives.

  • How much do sessions cost?

    Intake sessions are $200 and concurrent sessions are $150.

  • Do you take insurance?

    Yes. Insurances accepted include Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, MHS, and Caresource. Other insurances are billed. Clients are responsible for copays and deductibles. 

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Normal scheduled business hours are 9am-3pm. However, other times may be available including early mornings and evening hours upon request, but may be limited. There are no weekend hours.
